Designing and photographing for Dr. Yuliati Siantajani’s “Loose Parts” was an inspiring challenge. This book, a guide for preschool teachers in Indonesia, transforms everyday items into engaging educational toys. From natural elements like stones, seeds and flowers to recycled materials like tissue rolls, I captured the essence of creativity in each shot.
The project spanned 3-4 months, involving hands-on sessions with kids in classrooms to capture authentic moments of play. The result? A visually captivating guide that empowers teachers to innovate.
Outcome: The book has resonated with educators across Indonesia, selling thousands of copies. It’s become a valuable resource for fostering creativity in early childhood education.
